With the enhancement of tourism in Puerto Platawith the launch of the project Brigantine Pointthe Northern zone is strengthening and preparing its human capital, and for this reason, around 300 tourist guides received renewed cards that will serve as a guarantee for the safety of visitors and tourists.
The delivery was led by the regional director of Tourism, Atahualpa Paulinoas well as staff from companies and services of the state entity.
Paulino expressed satisfaction with the delivery of the cards, while pointing out that the process is part of the minister’s policy. David Collado with the aim of keeping those involved in a vital action within tourism, such as guides, up to date and organized.
“We are here to support you, to support efficiency and quality, that is our commitment to you, to tourism and to the country,” he said, according to local press.
The tour guides were grateful for the update of their identifications, which allow them to carry out their work in the value chain of the tourism industry, in addition to highlighting the efforts made by Collado, as well as the officials, for the good performance of the sector.
