Santo Domingo.- The press office of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) reported that the remains of communicator Carlos Vargas will be buried on Friday in the municipality of Villa Tapia, Hermanas Mirabal province.
The panelist of the program El Show del Mediodía, died on Wednesday night. The information was released by the political leader Rafael Paz, through his X account.
«Shocked by the death of my friend and program colleague Carlos Vargas, an example of courage, gallantry and vehement defense of his causes. How sad I am about his unexpected departure. I can’t believe it. My condolences to his family. EPD,” Paz wrote.
The Midday Show team also mourned the death of their co-worker. “His departure leaves us with an immense void, since his dedication, his passion and his commitment to work have been fundamental to the growth and success of our station.”
In a brief statement, they described Carlos as “a colleague, he was a friend, a mentor and a leader who inspired everyone by his example.”
«His ability to communicate ideas and emotions clearly and concisely made him a true master of communication. His legacy in Color Vision is immense, and the memory of him will always accompany us.
