Agents from the Eastern Regional Investigation Subdirectorate (Dicrim) arrested Raúl José Devalon, 33, a member of a gang dedicated to motorcycle theft in the Villa Hermosa municipality, La Romana province.
Devalon was caught with a motorcycle reported stolen. Upon further investigation, the officers located the place where he, along with other antisocials known as “Petilu” and “el Lechero,” dismantled the motorcycles and altered the numbering of the chassis.
In the operation, the agents seized five motorcycles of different brands, as well as numerous parts.
The arrest of Devalon and the dismantling of this clandestine workshop represent a significant blow to the criminal gang that operated in the aforementioned city.
