The Address of the Ombudsman and Use of Spaces Publics of the Mayor’s Office of the National District carried out an operation in which it removed vehicles in scrap condition and eliminated businesses that obstructed the passage of pedestrians in the sector Manganagua.
The director of Spaces Publics of the City Council, Lieutenant Colonel José Aníbal Sanz, pointed out that the intervention spread throughout the streets Guacanagaríx, Santa Lucía and Teodoro Chassériau from the aforementioned capital sector.
“The intervention not only seeks to recover the spaces public, but also to guarantee a safer, cleaner and more organized city, improving the quality of life of all citizens,” said Sanz.
According to a press release from the Mayor’s Office, the operation is part of the work promoted by Mayor Carolina Mejía to maintain order and security in the different sectors.
“The recovery of ours spaces “Public services are essential for the development and well-being of our community,” said the municipal executive.
The operation joins other initiatives in which the Address of the Ombudsman’s Office Spaces Publics recovered several points in the Villa Consuelo, Ensanche La Paz, Honduras sectors and the José Martí and 27 de Febrero avenues.
