The show of reality television most important in Mexico “The House of the Famous“closed its second edition with the victory of Mario Bezaresin a season in which they have registered some audience increases compared to the successful previous year, as announced this Monday by the program production.
The five finalists this season, the winner Bezares or ‘Mayito’, Karime Pindter, who finished second, Gala Montes with her third place, Arath de la Torre and Brigitte Bozzofourth and fifth respectively, participated together with producer Rosa MarÃa Noguerón in a closing press conference at the headquarters of Televisa.
“The previous season had broken all records, it was historic and they always told us that we were hardly going to surpass what happened in the first season; the amount of votes In the final, historic amount of votes that accumulated during the ten weeks, historic ratingand yet, this season it was achieved and surpassed,” said the producer.
- Noguerón boasted about the season, in which, as he commented, 212 million votes in total throughout the entire transmission, although this indicator was somewhat lower in the final gala compared to the first.
“We are not just a number which are definitely figures extraordinary (…) to see that people gather in bars, in restaurants, in public squares, to see ‘The House of the Famous‘Yesterday there were people uploading videos in different states of the Republic, in the Zona Rosa… and that is wonderful,” he insisted.
For the winner of this edition, Bezares, the experience has meant a “Renaissance” staff and wanted to thank the public for their support.
“My heart is completely overwhelmed by so much love and affection from this beautiful public that voted for a servant, thank you,” Bezares thanked.
In this she agreed with her colleagues Karime, Gala and Brigitte, who said they had the “best experience of their lives” despite the suffering of not being able to see their families and for being disconnected from the outside.
- The other finalist, Arath, emphasized the importance of making visible the mental health and make the taboos that society imposed on this issue.
“Send a message to the entire society of how personally I have been able to overcome my addictions and I have been able to overcome depressionanxiety and I hope to have left not only smiles, but hope in some person, two, three, I don’t know, millions of people, whoever it may have been, who know that it is okay to be wrong and that there is always a solution,” said the comedian.
And everything related to the mental health has been very controversial in a season in which one of its participants, Adrián Marcelowas harshly criticized for his interventions that some viewers considered abusive, misogynistic and discriminatory.
Noguerón, however, asked “to stop the hate (hate)” for the suffering it is causing to the environment of Marcelowith whom he claimed to have been on good terms.
