The agreement was signed between the Argentine Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourism Companies (FAEVYT) and the Argentine Chamber of Tourism (CAT) to continue promoting the National Registry of Travel Agencies (RNAV). (Travel agencies launch a public, free and self-managed registry)

The meeting was led by Andrés Deyá, president of FAEVYT, and Gustavo Hani, president of CAT and was attended by Walter Rodríguez, Secretary of the Federation and Laura Teruel, Secretary of the Chamber.

«From our role, as representatives of the private tourism sector in Argentina, we accompany each of the entities that make up the industry to be able to have the best tools that strengthen tourism. The National Registry of Travel Agencies is one of them and is essential to bring security and confidence to companies and consumers,” said Gustavo Hani, president of CAT.

“It is a huge boost to the National Registry of Travel Agencies to consolidate the support of the Argentine Chamber of Tourism with the signing of this agreement that promotes the contracting of tourist services through the intermediation of Travel and tourism companies that are registered in RNAV. The CAT is the mother entity that brings together the different sectors of tourism and that strategic importance is key to continue promoting the Registry,” said Andrés Deyá, president of FAEVYT.

The agreement highlights the importance of consolidating an eminently formal sector in the field of the Travel and tourism industry through the Registry and establishes that the CAT must request Travel agencies that participate in foreign missions to be registered in RNAV.
