The Foundation Symphony and the Volunteering of the Cardio Neuro Ophthalmological and Transplant Center (Cecanot) announce the pro-showcollection of funds “Spanish Romance: Serena Sáenz & Pablo Sainz-Villegas in concert“, which will take place in the Carlos Piantini Room of the National Theater next Tuesday, September 10 at 8:30 p.m.
Daisy Miranda of Mitrovpresident of the Foundation Symphonyreported that two good causes motivate the celebration of this recital.
“In the case of Volunteering Cecanotobtaining the economic resources and supplies that allow it to continue offering quality services to low-income patients and, in the case of Symphonythe continuation of the educational programs which promotes workshops, scholarships and master classes for young Dominican talents.”
Star performances
He also noted that this concert will have the stake star of the soprano Spanish Serena Sáenz, who has been praised by the press for her musicality, good taste in ornamentation and bright high notes with a good arsenal of bel canto resources.
It will be accompanied by the guitarist further virtuous of his generation, Pablo Sainz-Villegas, an ambassador of culture Spanish in the world, being the first guitarist soloist to play at New York’s Carnegie Hall since Maestro Andrés Segovia did so in 1983.

This is the second time that Foundation Symphony and Volunteering Cecanot come together for a noble cause, the first time being in 2023 with the concert “Crown, jewels of the opera”.
The tickets for this event charity are now on sale at the Foundation Symphony and at the National Theatre box office.
