J-Hopeone of the members of the popular South Korean band btsconcluded this Thursday the 18 months of military service mandatory, being the second of the group to complete it, only after Jin.
J-Hope was received by the press and himself Jinwho gave him a bouquet of flowers, in front of the main gate of the training camp of the Army’s 36th Infantry Division in Wonjuabout 90 kilometers southeast of Seoul.
“During my 18 months of military serviceI served as an instructor and marched a lot, so I saw many citizens of Wonju. I want to thank the citizens who greeted and cheered the soldiers. “It was very moving,” he said. J-Hope in statements collected today by the South Korean Yonhap agency.
Meeting
Jinwho completed his service in June, was the only member of the group who could go to meet him since sugaRM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are still performing that service, before the band can reunite in 2025.
Wearing a military uniform and cap, J-Hope he greeted the journalists gathered there, while the group’s representation agency, BigHit Music, asked its followers not to visit the area to avoid crowds.

It is expected that both Jin as J-Hope focus on their individual careers until the group’s official return.
bts announced in 2022 that it would take a rest at least until 2025, a period that its seven members have been taking advantage of to focus on personal projects and perform said service.
