He Senate of the Republic approved in first reading the project that regulates and promotes health tourism in the Dominican Republic.
The senator’s initiative Eduardo Estrellaaims to promote health tourism throughout the national territory, encouraging the establishment and education of health centers, to provide services to foreigners who require specialized medical care, which would result in collective well-being, and would serve as a contribution to collective economic and social development.
The plenary also approved the project for the Promotion of Development and Competitiveness of Crafts, submitted by the senator Jose Del Castillo Savinowhich seeks to promote the institutionalization of existing craft businesses in the country, boost private investment, create conditions to improve productivity, as well as encourage ongoing training of craft creators in order to increase their artistic, technical and economic potential.
