Riu seeks strategic location for a hotel in Mexico City

The Spanish chain Riu would be looking for the strategic location to open its Hotel in Mexico City, in line with its expansion in urban areas for cosmopolitan tourism.

Joan Trian Riu is currently one of the 6 managing directors and is the one who has promoted the expansion of the chain in urban areas aiming at more international tourism, such as its first Hotel in London and the one that will soon open in Chicago, as well as Mauricio Flores reveals it in his La Razón column.

Riu in Mexico has 22 hotels promoted by Carmen Riu, who recently announced her retirement to become only the president of the Board of Directors. Her brother Luis Riu will remain only as CEO.
