The National Meteorological Office (ONAMET), reports that for this Sunday the trough begins to move away from our area, while the moisture content gradually decreases in our air mass, therefore, there will be a reduction in precipitation in terms of its intensity and frequency in relation to previous days.
It reports that only isolated and passing showers are expected in the morning hours in provinces close to the southern coast such as: La Altagracia, La Romana, San Pedro de MacorÃs, San Cristóbal and El Gran Santo Domingo. After noon, other cloudy increases accompanied by showers and thunderstorms will occur until early evening towards the provinces: Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, Sánchez RamÃrez, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, Santiago, San Juan, Azua, ElÃas Pina, Dajabón, among other. Meanwhile, at night, clear skies will prevail.
For Tomorrow is Monday, Our air mass will be drier and more stable, as a consequence of a high pressure system that will dominate the meteorological conditions over the country and Saharan dust particles, therefore, it will be clear and with scattered clouds in the daytime hours. In the afternoon, some increases in cloudiness are expected, accompanied by isolated showers with possible thunderstorms, towards localities in the southeast, northeast and the Central Mountain Range, such as: Hato Mayor, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, San José de Ocoa, San Juan, ElÃas Piña, among other areas. These precipitations will be associated with the interaction of the wind with the orography and diurnal warming.
