With a wide representation of its offer, and a fresh and renewed image, Puerto Plata took its destination brand, for the first time, to the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE) 2024, held from April 24 to 26, at the Hotel Paradisus Palma Real, Punta Cana.

Showing its colors and the distinctive essence of each of its municipalities, Puerto Plata received hundreds of tour operators and agents during the day of the fair, attracted by the experiential proposal that was projected from the stand, where the delegation offered exhaustive information about the new image with which they are projecting themselves to the world.

“We are very pleased with our participation in DATE 2024; It has been one of the most successful versions in which we have been as a destination. The number of appointments, the attendance of professionals from the sector who visited us, has exceeded all our expectations,” he expressed. Birgitt Heinsenpresident of the Destination Puerto Plata Tourism Cluster (CTDPP).

The delegation was made up of presidents, executive directors and members of the CTDPP and the Associations of Hotels, Restaurants and Tourism Companies of the North (Ashonnorth), of Playa Dorada Hotels (ADHPD) and Hotels, Restaurants in Sosúa and Cabarete (ASHORESOCA) together with its member companies and entities: Ocean World Adventure ParkChukka Caribbean, Universal Aviation, The Ocean Club GroupMacorix House of Rum, Senator Hotels and ResortsNature River Park and VH Hotels & Resorts, Viva Resorts.

Also participating were Mint Hotels & Residences, Lifestyle Holidays Hotels & Resorts, Fricolandia, Runners Adventures, Chocolate del Oro, El Gallo Ecolodge, La Aurora, Manureva Tours, Casa Marina Beach and Reef, Hodelpa Hotels, Blue Bay Villas Doradas, Marien Puerto Plata and Freedom Builders Global Group.
