The call was made by the Association of Prosecutors Dominicans (Fiscaldom) and it became effective this first day, Friday, in protest of the failure to fulfill promises of competitions, salary improvements, among other demands, by the highest authorities of the Public Ministry.
The strike was called level national from 8:00 in the morning until noon this Friday.
According to the organizers, these actions are a call to authorities to meet demands that, according to what they say, have been postponed for years.
New actions planned
He fiscal Andrés Comas Abreu, from the National District, warned that, if progress is not made in the negotiations with the authoritieshe next Monday 2 of December They will extend the strike from 8:00 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon.

Demands of the magistrates
Among the main demands of Fiscaldom include:
– Promotions for attorneys prosecutors and inspectors.
– Competitions for entitlements of fiscalexpired ias, courts and specialized services.
– Revision wage to equalize conditions with the Judiciary.
– Putting in march of a plan retirement, pensions and retirements.
– Incorporation of benefits marginal limits established in Law 133-11.
– Creation of programs professional and personal development for members of the Ministry Public.
In Santiago

During the day, the representatives of the Public Ministry only attended to the cases of the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services, which hears requests for coercive measures from detained people, and those that correspond to the special jurisdiction of Children and Adolescents.
Meanwhile, in Saint Peter of Macorís, the spokesman of Fiscaldom, Chanel Dessi Gómez, emphasized that their demands are not new, however, given the promises unfulfilled by the Attorney General’s Office, they are forced to demonstrate again.
In La Romana and La Altagracia, prosecutors Idalia Peralta and John Mota spoke on behalf of their colleagues from those eastern provinces and indicated that their claims are fair because they comply with what the law establishes.
“All of these are fair demands and claims from the members of the Public Ministry,” said Peralta.
