The Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness (Proindustria) described his call to the job fair carried out in the facilities of the Industrial Park Esperanza Free Zonein the province of Valverde.
The activity headed by the general director Raphael Cruz Rodríguez attracted hundreds of people interested in applying for the more than 1,000 jobs offered by the tobacco company World Tobaccogenerating a response from the local community and its surrounding areas.
From the first hours of the day, the participants gathered on María Trinidad Sánchez Avenue, where they carried out interviews and receipt of documents for positions such as plant operators sector tobaccosupervisors, auditors, payroll assistants, forklift drivers, security guards and janitors, among other positions.
The general director of Proindustria, Raphael Cruz Rodríguez highlighted the importance of the event not only because of the number of people who attended, but also because of the impact economic and social what it represents for the region.

“It is with great joy that we attended this great recruitment event, which has allowed many humble people, some with experience and others who will acquire new knowledge, to approach new job opportunities. This strengthens the dynamics of area frank in the Dominican Republic,” he said.
Cruz Rodríguez also highlighted the growth of World Tobacco as an engine economic key to province. “This company continues to expand and generate jobs of qualitylike the 1,200 positions they are now recruiting for. This further strengthens the productive apparatus and strengthens the economy throughout the region,” he said.
Furthermore, he reiterated the commitment to Proindustria to relaunch the parks of area frank at the national level.
“Since we came to Proindustriawe have worked to revitalize these parks industrialand this one in Valverde is no exception. We are committed, under the guidelines of President Luis Abinader, to continue supporting the area frank because of its importance for the employmentmania and the development economic of the country,” he pointed out.
The Fair of Employment in the Esperanza Free Zone It is part of the initiatives of Proindustria to boost the economy and strengthen the manufacturing sector. By allying with companies like “World Tobacco”, spaces are created that promote the development industrial and socialcontributing significantly to growth sustainable of the nation.
At the end of your tour of the fair, Raphael Cruz visited some of the warehouses of this company dedicated to the classification, cutting and flavoring of the tobaccoguided by his representatives and in the company of some collaborators from the institution he leads.
Proindustria will continue to monitor the processes of selection of applicants and will promote more activities of this type in other regions of the country, reaffirming its commitment to the generation of jobs of quality and industrial competitiveness in the Dominican Republic.
