Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero, governor of Nayarit, announced the projection that his administration has made until 2027 in terms of investment and tourism development, where 14 new hotels are under construction, some of them from major brands.
Navarro Quintero highlighted the participation of Hotel chains such as Grupo Vidanta, Grupo Velas, Grupo City Express, Hampton Inn, Belmond Hotels, Rosewood Hotels, Grupo Marival, Grupo Paradise, Grupo Petrom, Grupo Villas, Grupo CMQ, OMNI, Susurros del Corazón and One&Only Mandarina, as reported by El Economista.
The representative of Tourism of Mexico, Miguel Torruco Marqués, emphasized Mexico’s position in the global tourism field and the relevance of Nayarit as one of the most attractive destinations that is growing.
As reported by REPORTUR.mxIn August 2023, Nayarit’s Tourism Secretary, Juan Enrique Suárez Del Real Tostado, said at the time that the areas of Nayarit that have always been linked to sun and beach tourism have extraordinary potential. (“Nayarit is the luxury destination in Mexico and will be first on Airbnb.”).
Likewise, the Tourism Secretariat of this entity was also trying to promote products such as Magical Towns, with strategies such as the Sea of Cortez Alliance, in order to encourage tourists to visit these towns.
