The report states that America It is the continent with the largest number of Dominicans in its territory, with 2,569,078, for 90.2%, followed by Europe with 274,885 for 9.7%.
While another 2,753 Dominicans (0.1%), have emigrated to other parts of the world.
Furthermore, 53.5% are women and 46.5% are men.
What is the Sociodemographic Registry of Dominicans?
The Sociodemographic Registry of Dominicans residing abroad is a tool conceived in 2021 by the Research and Study Directorate of the Vice Ministry for Dominican Communities Abroad.
It is made up of various integrated databases that compile official figures, collected in more than 100 States and agencies around the world, organized and linked through their available variables and geographically segmented.
The purpose of this instrument is the collection of this data in a secure, agile and updated manner, thus promoting its use by decision makers and those interested in gaining knowledge about our compatriots abroad.
