During these 100 days the Town hall inaugurated the parks Los Corales, La Guayubín and Plaza del Perú, while progressing in the work of the parks Belisario Curiel, Los Jardines del Norte, Buenos Aires del Mirador, Luisa Ozema Pellerano and Ases to complete the 173 since the last four years.

“The Town hall “Llega a Ti” is another program promoted by the authorities and its purpose is to listen to the requests of the community in different sectors and offer solutions, while carrying out medical and social operations for residents. The same has been carried out in various communities in these 100 days, such as San Miguel, 24 de Abril and Mata Hambre.

During the atmospheric phenomena that have impacted the National District the mayoress has led the operations that solved the damage left by Hurricane Beryl in its wake, due to the rains and high waves, restoring the capital’s Malecón in record time. The Paseo Marítimo and the parks of the Malecón coastline, together with specific solutions at critical points in the city.

The trash

The mayoress Carolina Mejia highlighted the draft final provision for the solid waste that occur in the National District and assured that it will be an adequate and environmentally responsible solution, which in turn will allow the collection system to continue to be modernized. Until now, the municipal authorities have not reported the place where the final destination of the waste would be. Within the plans of the Town hall There is also the project to renovate Enriquillo Park, which he said is already ready. Likewise, the long-awaited renovation of the Ciudad Colonial parking lot is under development.
