The Matías Ramón Mella Arts Center, located in Lotación Verón, obtained first place in the international First LEGO League Challenge competition, held on May 3 and 4 at Carol Morgan School in Santo Domingo
The students demonstrated their competencies in the STEAM educational approach: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, resulting in first place in the Entrepreneurs category.
Public and private schools participated in this international competition for a total of 56 schools.
The students also captured the moment of victory in photography with the Deputy Minister of Education, Ancell Scheker.
