Latam announced the return of the direct route between Santiago de Chile and Punta del Este, Uruguay, for the 2024-2025 summer season (December to March of next year). It had been suspended in 2022.
As detailed by the company, the operation will be with three frequencies a week on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, on Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 174 passengers and the Flights will have a duration of just over 2 hours.
María Paz Villasante, Latam Commercial Strategy Manager, remarked: “This route allows for increased connectivity between Chile and Uruguay, a country with which today we also have a direct Flight to the capital, Montevideo. “We project to have a high flow of vacationers on the route and mobilize more than 12,500 passengers during the season.”
