San Pedro de Macoris. Two well-known criminals actively wanted for the commission of multiple criminal acts, were killed this Saturday night, when confronting the police officers who were following them in order to arrest them, in an event that occurred in the municipality of Quisqueya, that city.
This is Ramfis Theophile, (a) The Lord of the Skies, 32 years old, who lived in the La Loma neighborhood, in the Quisqueya municipality, of that city, and Junior Ramírez (a)Junior Kepua, who was accompanied by him, died while they received medical care at a local health center.
According to the preliminary report, police officers assigned to the Southeast Regional Investigation Subdirectorate (Dicrim), while carrying out an extensive local operation, located the suspects in the aforementioned municipality, but after noticing the police presence, instead of stop and surrender to the authorities, they attacked the agents with two firearms, who found themselves in the urgent need to respond to said aggression, causing the wounds that later caused their death.
After the confrontation, two Glock brand pistols were seized from “Ramfis and/or El Señor de los Cielos” and “Junior Kepua”, one 9mm caliber, series BGRL966, brown, and another 40mm caliber, series No. BSRH533, which they carried without no type of documentation and which they used to confront the police officers. Likewise, two cell phones of different brands and a black Turano brand motorcycle, model 200CC, were also seized.

According to the preliminary report, “Ramfis and/or El Señor de los Cielos” was actively wanted through 15 arrest warrants against him, among which we can mention Nos. 00539-2021, 01510-2020, 01034-2019, 00821 -2020, 341-2019, 00398-2022 and 00171-2023, for the commission of multiple criminal acts, consisting of deaths and injuries of several people and for illicit trafficking and sale and distribution of controlled substances (Drugs), among others.
It should be noted that the vehicle in which the police officers were traveling in said intervention was hit by several bullets in different areas.
The bodies of those nicknamed “Ramfis and/or El Señor de los Cielos” and “Junior Kepua” were sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) for the corresponding legal purposes.
