The improvement and expansion of the traffic lights, signs roads, as well as the holding of trade fairs road safety in parks and squares to promote the use of helmets in interurban motorcyclists are part of the initiatives agreed this Wednesday to improve the transit in Santiago.
The proposals are contemplated in the agreement that was signed between the National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (Intrant), the Mayor’s Office Santiago and the Council for the Strategic Development of the Heart City (CDES).
No more than two users per motorcycle
In addition, the pact includes a registration and numbering of motorcycles for restrict the use of more than two users by engines.

The National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation will promote seminarsinternational Trips to Costa Rica to learn about the successful experiences of the Council of Road Safety (COSEVI) of that nation.
The commitment was signed by Milton Morrisondirector of Intrant; Ulises RodrÃguezmayor of Santiago; and Ricardo Fondeur, president of CDES.
