The Council of Ministers of Haiti appointed this Wednesday Woodly Edson Louidor like new Haitian ambassador to the Dominican Republicaccording to Haitian media, including Radio Télé Métronome.
The news was published – and assumed as a fact – by the Zile Foundation (FZ), chaired by the former Haitian consul Edwin Paraison.
Through its X account, the Zile Foundation expressed its support for Louidor’s appointment. “The FZ welcomes the appointment of Woodly Edson Louidor, an expert on immigration issues, who has much to contribute in this sensitive area,” the foundation stated.

Louidor has a doctorate in Philology from the University of Leipzig in Germany. He has a master’s degree in Latin American Philosophy from the Santo Tomás University. He is currently the director of the Master’s Degree in Critical Studies of Contemporary Migrations – Javeriana University in Colombia. He has been a professor at the Department of Philosophy and History of Law at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and at the Faculty of Sociology at the Universidad Santo Tomás.
