This is how the first passengers of the inaugural Flight of Frontier Airlines between Puerto Rico and Santiago de los Caballeros.
It is recalled that the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) learned of the request to amend Frontier Airlines’ operating permit, to include the San Juan/Santiago/San Juan-Puerto Rico route on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays of each week, on model aircraft Airbus A320neo (32N), with capacity for 186 people.
José Ernesto Marte Piantinipresident of the JAC, stated that the airline’s interest is due to the fact that air connectivity in the province of Santiago is experiencing marked growth, establishing new routes and frequencies.
He indicated that according to and based on the data, it is estimated that, from June 2 to December 31 of this year, the airline will offer 33,826 seats, with which it plans to transport 27,061 passengers.
