The Dominican Republic will participate, with a delegation, in the fourteenth Air Navigation Conference of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which is celebrated in Montreal, Canada.
The main objective of the conference is to achieve a global consensus on performance improvement initiatives that will enable ICAO, Member States and the aviation industry to meet global environmental challenges and the rapid evolution of aviation operations and technologies, all in a context of limited resources.
The Dominican delegation is headed by the general director of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC), Igor Rodriguez and has the participation of the president of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC), Hector Porcella; the Ambassador Julio Penapermanent representative of the Dominican Republic to ICAO, as well as Antonio Yaporalternate representative and member of the JAC.
