Marco Antonio Ocando, Senior Director of Marketing, Corporate Communication and Loyalty at Copa Airlines, said: REPORTUR.co Venezuela is a key market for the airline, and although they have tried to resolve the inconveniences for travelers, the process has been slowed down by the number of requests.
“Venezuela is a key market for us, and we are ready to resume Flights as soon as the authorities allow it. In the meantime, we are committed to reducing the impact on our passengers. Therefore, we have offered options such as date changes and refunds. We know that the process may be slower due to the number of requests, so we appreciate the patience of our travelers,” Ocando told REPORTUR.co.
He also commented that they continue to expand their operations in other regions to connect the Americas in the best possible way. He added that “it is important to clarify that the decision to suspend Flights is not in our hands; it depends on the government authorities of the countries involved. Our intention has always been and continues to be to connect people, since that is our fundamental purpose,” explained the executive.
