Currently, three provinces remain in alert yellow: Puerto PlataValverde and Dajabón.

While 15 provinces and the National District are in alert green.

Despite the decrease in rains forecast for tomorrow, clouds persist that could generate downpours, thunderstorms and gusts of wind.

He National Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) indicated that they are expected rains tonight in the provinces of Hato Mayor, Monte Plata and sectors of Greater Santo Domingo.

As preventive measurethe population is urged not to cross riversstreams and ravines with high water levels in low-lying areas alert.

In addition, Indomet recommends that operators of fragile, small and medium-sized boats in the Atlantic coast to navigate with caution, avoiding venturing out to sea due to the winds and abnormal waves that still affect this area.
