Civitatis is expanding its presence in America by entering the United States market. To this end, it has appointed Juan Rosello, who, in addition to being the director in Mexico, has now been appointed as the director of Business Development for the USA and Central America.
Civitatis considers the USA a key market where Spanish is the second most spoken language, reflecting the significant demand for Travel services in Spanish. “The USA is an important market for Civitatis, not only because of its economic influence, but also because of its large and growing Spanish-speaking population. We are committed to providing high-quality, curated Travel experiences that cater to this community, and Juan’s appointment is a key step in achieving that goal,” comments Enrique Espinel, COO of Civitatis.
Juan Rosello has more than 15 years of experience in the Travel industry. “I am delighted to take on this role and help drive Civitatis’ growth in the US and Central American markets,” he added, “demand for high-quality Travel experiences in Spanish is growing, and I look forward to working closely with our partners to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations in these dynamic regions.”
According to the United Nations, more than 42 million people in the United States are fluent in Spanish. The Cervantes Institute predicts that by 2060, the United States will become the second largest Spanish-speaking country in the world, after Mexico.
Civitatis collaborates with more than 29,000 Travel agencies around the world and will participate in WTE Miami 2024 from October 21 to 23, an event that brings together global decision-makers from airlines, airports, tourism offices and other professionals in the sector.
As reported by REPORTUR.com.arCivitatis, the online distribution platform for guided tours and excursions in Spanish, recently closed a new collaboration agreement with Flybondi, the low-cost airline from Argentina, through which both companies seek to improve the experience of passengers in the destinations where the leading low-cost airline flies. (Civitatis and Flybondi close alliance to offer new experiences to travelers).
