This new branch has a structure adapted for people with disabilities, thus promoting their inclusion and independence when carrying out their transactions at the counter.
Higüey, Dominican Republic.– The Cibao Savings and Loan Association opened its 55th branch in the city of Higüey, La Altagracia province, as part of its strategy to expand service channels in areas of high growth and economic dynamism.
Rebeca Meléndez, Executive Vice President of Business, highlighted that this is the second branch that the Association has opened in the province, which is a reflection of the economic growth of the area and the acceptance and demand for the financial products and services offered by the institution.
“In 2019, when we opened our first branch in the area, specifically in Bávaro, we arrived backed by a culture of service and compliance, and with the commitment to offer competitive and efficient financial solutions. We have honored that word and today, heading towards 62 years in the Dominican financial intermediation market, we remain firm in that promise,” he said.
Moisés Maldonado de los Santos, manager of the Higüey branch, said that this new branch will offer all financial services, including the opening of savings accounts, deposits, withdrawals, loan applications and credit cards. Likewise, the services of buying and selling foreign currency, transfers and 24-7 access through our Internet Banking platform, Mobile Banking ACAP and the network of ATMs nationwide.
This new office has a cashier area with the necessary height for wheelchair users, as well as an access ramp to promote their inclusion and independence when carrying out their transactions at the counter.
The new facilities were blessed by the Reverend Father Ángel Edgardo de la Rosa Leonardo, Administrative Vice-Rector of the Catholic University of the East – UCADE, and parish priest of the Parish of Our Lady of Mercedes.
