He Pool of Operators Copa Vacations Chile, In collaboration with the Tourism Promotion Office (OPT) in that country, the support of the Puerto Plata Destination Tourism Cluster (CTDPP) and of Otiumcoordinated a Fam-Trip to present the attractions and innovations offered by the destination’s tourism proposal as a way to promote Puerto Plata.
32 professionals participated in the meeting, including Travel agents, integrated by wholesalers Caribbean Chile, CIC Travel, Panama and World Tourrepresentatives of Assist Card and the OPT in Chile, who after carrying out several activities in Santo Domingothey moved to Puerto Plata to see first-hand the main attractions of the Dominican North Coast.
The group enjoyed several experiences in inspections at properties such as hotels Big Window, Colonial House, Viva Tangerine Cabarete, Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada, Emotions by Hodelpa and Casa Marina Beach and Reef Sosúa.
They also enjoyed visits to the Historic Center, the Macorix Rum Museum, and experienced Ocean World Adventure Park and the Amber Museum, according to the statement.
