He Central Bank of the Dominican Republic (BCRD) announced today that as of Friday, November 1, 2024, the new coins of 1.00 pesos, corresponding to the year 2023.
According to the BCRD, these coins have the same characteristics than those currently in circulation, the only difference being the year of minting.
Furthermore, the bank assured that the coins will maintain their liberating forcewhich means that they will be valid for the payment of all public and private obligations.
