Avantrip is now Almundo: the fusion of two emblems of tourism

CVC Corp Argentina announced the merger of its two major brands aimed at the B2C public: Avantrip and Almundo. The decision is based on a 100% commercial and business strategy. Thus, this Monday, August 12, the Avantrip website will stop working and its users will be able to find what they are looking for by going to Almundo through all its channels: website, call center and more than 130 physical agencies.

The group says that for Avantrip customers it will undoubtedly be a benefit and at the same time it will be an important decision in favor of consolidating the CVC group as the market leader in Argentina. Meanwhile, it is important to highlight that those who have already purchased Trips through Avantrip will be able to Travel without problems and with even better service since the entire Avantrip platform will be transferred to Almundo.

Based on the CVC group’s quest to continuously improve its value proposition and considering that Almundo’s proposal has been strongly consolidated on pillars such as an exclusive product, a highly consolidated payment platform and omnichannel service, this strategic decision was made. Likewise, so far in 2024, the group with its 4 brands gained 38% more market share, compared to its share at the end of 2023, where Almundo contributed by maintaining its portion.
