Amerian adds three hotels in Córdoba, Mendoza and Bariloche

The Amerian chain announced three new properties in different parts of Argentina to continue its expansion through the franchise and management business line. These are Merit Carlos Paz Lago, which will open at the end of 2024 with its first 23 rooms; and, on the other hand, Merit Mendoza and Amerian Bariloche, which will open their doors in 2027 and 2028 respectively.

The chain’s president, Roberto Amengual, was at the presentation along with the three shareholders, who highlighted the support and confidence of the Hotel chain in encouraging them to invest in the country and trust in the destinations.

Gustavo Toledo commented about the Merit Carlos Paz Lago, located on the shores of Lake San Roque, in the province of Córdoba, which is a boutique Hotel with 36 rooms on a 2,192 m2 property, with a 360-degree view of the city from its 200-meter terrace. The Hotel is rated as 3 stars superior and is aimed at tourists who visit the city and want to walk around, get to know the area and stay at an affordable rate. It has the necessary amenities: a SUM for meetings, two swimming pools, one of them heated, and 23 rooms. The property is scheduled to open in the next summer season.

Walter Morbidoni explained that the Merit Mendoza is mainly focused on health tourism due to its location in front of the Mendoza Central Hospital. The Hotel, with a low-cost profile and located in a complex on a 4,000 m2 site, will have 115 rooms with an average of 20 m2 of space, a small meeting room, a gastronomic area and will also be rated as a 3-star superior Hotel with all the amenities. Merit Mendoza will have four basements for parking and an investment of approximately 12 million dollars with 2 and a half years of construction.

Finally, Emilio Secco, a native of Bariloche, belonging to a family that has been investing in the destination for sixty years, is betting on Amerian Bariloche, which, given its size, would take approximately 4 years to build. The six-story Hotel will be integrated with the Delturista Shopping and Gastronomic Center and will occupy 18,000 m2. It will have a co-working space, a gym and a supermarket, and 150 parking spaces. It will be a 4-star superior Hotel, located in the city center, and with 140 rooms (between 38 and 45 m2) for families. The investment will be approximately 20 million dollars.
