The thriving national Hotel chain Álvarez Arguelles presented its latest acquisition, the Hotel Gran Brizo Bel Air in Recoleta. The family chain has 12 hotels in the country and celebrated the inauguration of this completely remodeled establishment. (Álvarez Argüelles: 70 years with three generations and several projects)
The chain currently has the Gran Brizo brand in Buenos Aires, La Plata, La Pampa and Neuquén. The latter, in the elegant Recoleta neighbourhood, was built in 1927 in the Spanish Baroque style. The building has been fully restored by the Álvarez Argüelles Hoteles chain, respecting its historical and architectural value.
Highlighting a contemporary and minimalist style, the 77 rooms are equipped with high international Hotel standards and decorated in a personalized manner. The interior design, by Sofía Camps, stands out for the detailed selection of unique coverings for their materials, textures, design and tones, while the lighting accentuates the artistic originality and the designer furniture reflects an authentic style.
As for gastronomy, Tierra Restaurant is distinguished by its excellent culinary offering, based on tradition and quality products. On the same floor is “Vicente López”, a multifunctional room equipped with modern technology, designed to flexibly adapt to the needs of various types of events.
This establishment also inaugurates a wellness area; “Estado Puro Spa” has a gym with state-of-the-art equipment.
The portfolio of the chain that was born in Mar del Plata today reaches 12 properties. There are also advances and intentions to have operations in Spain, where the founders of the national chain are from. “We are very active in this search (…) and we are always open to strategic partners in the region and the rest of the country beyond those we already operate in” he said exclusively to REPORTUR.com.ar Horacio Losa, Director of Operations.
Regarding this opening, the executive said: “Although the Costa Galana is our luxury flagship, today the Gran Brizo brand, like the one that is being inaugurated, is a new luxury Hotel that is very focused on the experience, on the interior design, very contemporary with a very marked design. They do not have the classic sumptuousness but they are luxury properties with a more contemporary approach.”
