Carmina Buranahe show most successful of The Fura dels Bausarrives today, Friday at the Carlos Piantini Hall of the National Theater, at 8:30 pm, after touring three continents, selling out seats and being seen by more than 400 thousand spectators, throughout Europe, Asia and America.
César Suárez Jr., producer of this majestic staging, has explained that The Fura dels Baus has conceived a “Carmina Burana” fast-paced, where the viewer, through shocking scenes, special effects and even fragrances, will immerse themselves in the forceful and visceral music of Carl Orff.
He showwith live music and more 50 artists on stage, offers a version of The Fury based on the work of Orffwhich in turn is inspired by a collection of medieval poems found in 1803 in the Benediktbeuern Abbey, in Bavaria.
Spectators will enjoy a dramatic cantata (or a musical orgy), where The Fury shows off all his creativity.
To do this, it relies on the use of audiovisual elementsthe proposal of generative scenery and an alternative approach to the role of singers, actors and chorus.
A mounting which, we are sure, will last in the memory of the assistants for a long time.

The celebration dedicated to dominican comic and its young creators, an annual event that provides the opportunity for new talents in graphic narrative to publish their own works and make their stories known to the public. This year, MaCo Expo includes mentoring to support young creators to improve their skills; in addition to talks and conferences with special guests, or the publication of 100% Dominican comics.
